Getting Started with Blink Mobile Broadband

Organising your mobile broadband connection should be as easy as using it. When you need fast wireless broadband on the go, setting up your connection with Blink is simple and uncomplicated. Follow these easy steps and you’ll be surfing the net using wireless broadband in no time! There’s no landline connection, no need for someone else to come and set it up, and no ties or long term contracts.

Get your Blink dongle online, in store or over the phone

First of all, you’ll need a Blink USB modem or dongle to connect your laptop to a 3G wireless broadband network. For your tablet or other tablet device, all you’ll need is the Blink micro-SIM – the memory chip that is inserted into your tablet that allows you to connect with Blink.

You can get your Blink USB modem or micro-SIM online, by simply filling out a form. You can also get your Blink USB modem or micro-SIM in store at a number of leading retailers such as Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Bing Lee. Alternatively, you can arrange for your USB modem to be delivered to you over the phone, by calling 1800 254 654.

Choose a plan and price

When you sign up with Blink, you’ll choose a plan and pricing option to suit your budget, device and wireless internet needs -
Month-to-month mobile internet plans – When you choose the month to month payment option, the Blink data and payment package you choose is automatically prepaid via direct debit from your account on a monthly basis. If your internet needs change, you can cancel or stop your month to month plan at any time – there are no ties or long term contracts. It’s a convenient prepaid mobile broadband option.
Wireless broadband contracts - You can also choose from 12 or 24 month contract plans, which start from just $19.95 per month. (For those who already have their own USB, there are BYO USB contracts to choose from).
Tablet Packages – You can also bundle the payment of a Samsung Galaxy or tablet with your monthly mobile broadband payments.

Activate your SIM

Before you can start using Blink mobile broadband, you’ll need to activate your SIM. This can be arranged in store, or by calling Blink on 1800 BLINKIT (1800 254 654). It’s simple and straightforward, and should take around 5 minutes.

Start surfing the web!

Once your SIM is activated, you’re ready to go. Unlike other mobile internet providers, with Blink mobile broadband there is no software or programs to install. Just insert your USB modem or micro-SIM for an easy broadband internet connection while you’re on-the go.
